ocr history A as-napoleon 15th may- how it went
Seeing as i couldn't find a thread for this, i decided to make one myself. How did everyone find it? I did the first and third questions. I'm really worried about how i did because my teacher said not to focus on empire and only do it if you really don't like the other question- which happened. Then when i came out of the exam, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE did the third question except for some guy in yr 13 who was resitting! So now i'm really worried because all the people that i talked to said 'why on earth would you answer the empire question!' Did anyone else do this question? How did you find it?

I actually registered purely to write a reply. I also noticed the lack of threads about the Napoleon paper - our school skipped the 'Empire' section; we had a brief lesson on what to do if we had to answer the Empire question, but nobody was very confident on it. I found Question 2 bizarrely difficult, but couldn't face 3, so stuck with 2. Only a handful of people did Question 3 in my year, and they were all worrying about it when they came out. Fingers crossed the grade boundaries were lower for such a ridiculously vague question on 2. Although, I kind of doubt it - Question 1 was really easy for most of my year - maybe 2 and 3 were there to cancel it out? I don't know..

I second that. My school barely touched the Empire so we got lumped with question two which was clutching at straws really..

Did you write about the 'Dictator' section or the 'Reforms' one? The question threw me - I sat there for 5 minutes just letting my brain melt. I did like, a combination of the two..

ha ha, i registered just to make a thread on this. my class were taught it for a couple of lessons and hse went over it b4 the exam cos we asked. I think i wrote abt the right things- just not very well. i think the other classes in my year weren't actually taught it at all, so maybe that's why they thought i was crazy to answer the third question. yh but everyone was saying that they found it really hard and that it was a bitc h of a paper- so the grade boundaries should go down. i hope. or else i'm screwed cos i don't think my sources paper went very well 2dai. :bawling:
