I got the following for my answers :-)

1 a) x=2 or x=-5
b) x-3/x+5

2 a) 4/x+2 - 3/x-5
b) 1+3x+9x^2

3 i) y=6-(2/x+1)
ii) -4/6

4 a) 2-ln3
b) 5x^2/2 + cotx + c
c) ((x-3)(2sec^2 2x)-tan2x)/(x-3)^2

5 i) a=3 b=2
ii) A=(-2,-4) B=(0,-4) C=(4,-4) D=(6,unknown y)

6 i) subbed in values an wrote comment
ii) x=0.586

7 4x-y-2=0

8 a) (cot^2 x)(tan^2 x) = (cos^2x/sin^2x)(sin^2x/cos^2x)=1

b) Made a mistake at the end and took away pi/4 instead of adding

My right answers would be 7pi/12, 11pi/12, 19pi/12, 23pi/12

So I started a thread for tomorrows exam.... I called it 'CCEA A2 Maths C4 1st June 2012' so just search that! Not looking forward for tomorrow!
