Higher French Discussion ThreadHey
the exam is less than a week away now so how are we all feeling about It?
I got 17 in my speaking and getting consistent 9/12 in DW and 8 in the short essay.
I'm preparing sport, healthy eating and media for my short essa. A lot of exams so far have had a part themed around the Olympics and sport hasn't came up for a while now.

Re: Higher French Discussion ThreadI feel prepared for Reading... and alright for both essays. Listening is where I fall. In our prelim we had a horrid listening about cycling, which no one had vocab for! For some VERY strange reason, I got 9/20 in the listening and still got 76%?! What is with that?
Anyway... I am currently learning new vocab (mainly for reading) and phrases (for essays) and listening to French radio. The rest of this afternoon I am going to work out which reading papers I haven't done, and tomorrow I am going to focus on writing my essays and doing listening papers. -

Re: Higher French Discussion Threadto get 9 on that listening was good! We did it as our second prelim, and only two people in our class got 5+. I tend to be decent at listening (I got 18-19/20 on our first prelim!) and I struggled to get a 10 :/(Original post by auberjean)

Does anyone have any predictions for the topic in short essay? I guessing a topic from the lifestlyes theme....

I got 80% in my prelim, but only because we had a gift of a listening
