oh wow - you guys seem to find this all so easy! why am I struggling so much?
it's the short answers ones that I get stuck on, like the 5 markers? it's as if you have to have five points, and the mark scheme is ridiculously vague/wishy-washy with the marking so that I can't get marks?
I don't know, that's just my view - the chances of me passing this are very slim, despite the fact that I've been revising for ages now
I think the examiners can use their own knowledge to give you a mark if what you've said is right but not on the mark scheme, it'll be fine

So.. how did you all find it?

I thought it was a fair, easy enough exam. Answered Q7 (Different costs for earthquakes/hazards of Philippines).

I thought it was okay, I normally get high marks in geography and it was a little more difficult than all the mocks we did I answered Question 7 too! I normally do the human questions but ended up doing that one!

I ticked the last box, Bacon and Bread. Everyone else in my class did the same so I am confident thats the right answer.

I thought it was horrible, I was rpeating from last year where I got 92/120 and really needed a high A (110+)
Tbh I hadn't revised as much as I should'veso my own fault :'(
I stupidly did question ten even though question 7 looked so easy! And struggled on the 5 mark questions
So annoyed as I need an A overall and don't see unit 4 going that well!

What questions did people get stuck on, we can go through them on here.

One I went a little blank on was how TNC's adapt to markets but think I got it in the end.

    I wrote about;

Mulan and Disney, venturing into foreign countries.
Ratatouille to advance in the French markets for Disney and to accompany Disney Land Paris
I wrote about McDonalds producing a chinese Ronald McDonald
I also wrote about how Tesco adapt to migration flows, Polish food in UK stores.

I hardly mentioned any examples, actually I think I wrote that cadbury makes it chinese chocolate sweeter to suit their needs I also remember writing about 'glocalisation'

I can't really remember what I wrote but I didn't really like the paper that much, the 5 markers seemed quite specific and I didn't write everything i knew so could have done better. What reasons did you put for why landfills were bad? Mine were so not to the point/vague
My timings weren't great, how much did everyone write for their 10 and 15markers? I'm not even sure how much you're supposed to write

I put the last option for the bacon question (what a stupid question!)

Was it spring or autumn for the other 1 marker, people i asked all put the opposite to me

I've always done well in geog so hopefully it'll come across in my answers more than I think
