6 Discuss the issues involved in testing large ICT systems. (15 marks)

Apart from Costs/Time constrains?

Maybe discuss:
The various types of testing such as alpha and beta and their reliability?
The need for specialist skills/ knowledge when testing network based systems?
The need to ensure that ICT systems must operate as stated?

Could you maybe also refer to the different methodologies and discuss the issues of testing within them?

anyone got notes on the pre-release or from the spec?
plz post it here,

as theres 8 questions in the entire paper, my teacher said topics that appeared
in the pre-release will not be the topics that appear on the last 4 questions (section B).

Anyone know what a 'formal service level agreement (SLA) is' ..its mentioned on page 8 of the pre–release...there might be a question on it?

The analysis looks preety good. Ive posted the first part of the mock paper, I've also got some stuff on software aswell, and plenty more coming

Lads i need some help with strategies

Factors that influence include: Business Goals, Available Finance, Legacy Systems, geography of clients
External factors: legislation, compliance

if a strategies question pops up in the exam would it ask for the factors with an explanation of why they're important or just ask for the factors itself?
