Re: Weird Things You Do playing video games
On Rainbow6Vegas2 or pretty much any shooter with this option I like to put assault rifles on semi-automatic and use them like a battle rifle
Spinning on the last corner of racers if winning by a considerable amount to reverse over the line (though that may be my inner douchebag)
Value split screen multiplayer over internet multiplayer (only if it's 4 way split screen though)
Target human players more than AI ones cos you actually get a reaction/challenge out of them -
Re: Weird Things You Do playing video games
-Fifa makes all my morals go out the window, if it's a big game and I let in a terrible goal I turn into this demonic like state and hurl abuse at pretty much everything, it's shameful.
-Skyrim, if walking a long way randomly start jumping forward for a few seconds every now and then.
-Skyrim, if I spin round say, 2 full circles, I have to spin my character back round.
-Skyrim and other similar games, if I pick up a piece of armour or weapon identical to the one I'm using I get rid of it to ensure that I am using the one I had originally.
-Shooting games, as somebody said, reloading constantly if magazine isn't full.
-Shooting games, swapping weapons randomly when running about and nobody is there.
-If I throw a grenade into a room on a game, especially multiplayer, I follow it in spraying bullets everywhere.
I don't know why I do it, haha. -
Re: Weird Things You Do playing video games
Any FPS;
Same as many, reloading, all the time. Even if I've so much as tapped the trigger and shot one round, I must reload. Heck, if it's Battlefield and I've just emptied a magazine, I'll reload twice just to put one in the pipe!
Halo;
Melee dead Covenant to splatter everything with bright, primarily coloured blood. In CE it slow right, I think I even crashed my console once!
Pokemon;
I'll save at least twice. I always think that I've imagined saving and have to make sure before turning off.
Minecraft;
Since I haven't bought a copy yet and can only play the free one, I'll just keep mining straight down until I hit lava. -

[*]Furiously mashing A when I throw a Pokeball. In some deep part of my psyche, I'm convinced this works.
Don't judge me, bro.
Everyone did this. mashing A = masterball.

Re: Weird Things You Do playing video gamesEspecially after you caught a rare pokemon. I always save before a boss pokemon, incase I fail and then I can reset for another char to catch it.(Original post by CRHarrison)

Re: Weird Things You Do playing video gamesSame(Original post by Cati.LaLa)
Whenever I was on the Cycling Road on Pokemon I would have to whizz straight down it in one shot. If something got in my way I'd climb all the way back up to the top and start again. I can't actually explain why though
lol It's a must!

Re: Weird Things You Do playing video gamesi do the same(Original post by vin)
Smash every box/crate that was breakable incase there were supplies in there.
Made going through warehouses in half life rather long.
A;so going down every path to make sure I dont miss something.

Re: Weird Things You Do playing video games
-Sing the loading screen song if a level takes too long to load. "This is the loading screen song, why is it taking so long, why is it taking so long, I have no idea!"
-If a game has cool glitches, I just MUST try them out. Glitch flying in Jak 3 is a good example.
-In Jak 3, I tend to destroy the Dune Hopper vehicle at the monk temple because I can't be a***d to drive all the way back to Spargus City.
-In any game, I tend to shoot buildings to see if I can damage them in any way even if I know that it's not going to.
-In morrowind, I like to cheatcode into test maps so I can get the good items very early (ToddTest) or just for general curiosity (Redoran interior). -
Re: Weird Things You Do playing video gamesI'm so glad it wasn't just me

Speaking of the Jak games I would always destroy the Zoomer vehicles you'd use in Haven City just so that the guards wouldn't be able to track me(Original post by SecretDuck)
