'Sup. Looked for a thread, couldn't find one. Wondered what is everyone's favourite album of the year so far? Post a track from the album or post the album art or just name it or whatever.

    Go.
It has to be + Ed Sheeran

Honourable Mention to Architects - Daybreaker.

I guess most people wouldn't listen to metalcore/mathcore/screamo music, but for the few that do, Daybreaker is a great album.

Have you heard the other single, "Night & Day" ? That is a massive tune, one of my favourites from them!
Yeah, heard it last night after your post. Really impressed with the album as a whole. Definitely up there for 2012.

Angels and Enemies- Sound of Guns

Hopefully the best is still to come, when The View release Cheeky for a Reason next month!

The only new one I've listened to is Blunderbuss. Although I heard some of the new Hot Chip today which was alright.

Apart from the two mentioned, I'd say 'How Do You Do?' is another favourite of mine.

So far, it's Slash's 'Apocalyptic Love'.

Not that many albums coming out this year that i'm looking forward to, particularly.

Probably 'The General Strike' by Anti-Flag.

Really excited for the new Streetlight Manifesto album being released in the summer. Also heard news of new Springsteen and Modest Mouse this year which is exciting..

    Pond - 'Beard, Wives, Denim'

Pure, mesmerising sonic ecstasy. I sincerely recommend it if you haven't heard it already.

Also, Jack White's 'Blunderbuss' is pretty solid.

Is that Anti-Flag worth checking out then? I was going to listen to it when it came out and then I sort of forgot and haven't gone back, is it as good as their older stuff?

Also yeah, new Streetlight will probably great

Correct, which is why she's married. (gotta love when people post double negatives).

The new Maximo Park album is fairly good:
