As a first year, you won't be able to get a parking permit which means you are taking a risk bringing it onto campus. There are plenty of spaces but if you aren't supposed to be there and you'll get a big yellow sticker on the car if they come checking and in theory if you get two of these then you are banned from bringing a car in your second year too but I haven't actually known this happen to anyone.(Original post by JAlexander91)
