Re: Blackpool v West Ham - Championship Play-off FinalYou're happy with the way you play football? I'm not implying that there is anything wrong with it but the WH fans I know don't like it at all.(Original post by Marshyy)
Don't talk *******s.
Also, do you think you should have finished third considering the strength of your team? -
Re: Blackpool v West Ham - Championship Play-off FinalThe last third of the season we've played some blinding football, some of the football i've seen us play since Peterborough away is probably the best i've seen us play for years - you just need to look at the semi finals for proof. Wembley wasn't the greatest but we still put together some quality moves, result mattered a lot more on the day than the football.(Original post by In2deep)

At the end of the day this tag will always follow him about. He can play 88 minutes of quality on the floor football, 2 minutes of hoofball, and people will notice the hoofball purely because of his name. We were in an absolute STATE when we got relegated, i don't think many people realise just how much Sam has already done in just one season. Anyway i commented because your statement was *******s, the vast majority of West Ham fans are happy with Allardyce this season, happy with the football we've played particularly in the past few months and think he's the man to keep us up. Just had to talk to people at Wembley yesterday, or visit KUMB to see that.Last edited by Marshyy; 20-05-2012 at 20:18. -
Re: Blackpool v West Ham - Championship Play-off FinalFair enough. I thought those that wanted him out were in the majority and I guess I'm wrong, I'm getting my info from close friends so obviously it was questionable info.(Original post by Marshyy)

I personally also think that Sam won't push the team up into the top 10 without his style of football, I might be wrong but I personally believe if the right type of manager were to coma along, Sam should go but we'll see. -
Re: Blackpool v West Ham - Championship Play-off FinalSmall group of fans that are always the loudest in the media. The tag has stuck with him and well its a shame because no matter what he does he will always have that tag. The term the west ham way gets throw about far too much, we haven't played good football since pardew left, even then we had a poor season with him in the championship. Big Sam is the right man for the job he will make the club stable, we have been crying out for a manager like that since the bankers went broke. If that small group force him out we will end up with Mcleish and well that will be fun.(Original post by In2deep)
