I hope so, I haven't seen any episodes post 2005 ish, and I decided to watch one from the newst season yesterday on Tvlinks.com, "A totallly fun thing that bart will never do again", it was terrible. I think Matt G is pouring his attention into futurama, the Season seven episodes (after we had 4 seasons, and then four movies which covered season 5 and 6) are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Much the same way Seth Macfarlane has been getting involved with America Dad a lot more, which gets better and better, whereas as family guy is clearly being written and produced by a load of new people.

Matt Groening can only go on for so long. I can see it ending if someone else tries to take over.

Of course it will, once the number of viewers drops really low or the producers decide to move on. I mean, can you really imagine new episodes being made for it next century?

I assume Hank Azaria will die eventually.

The Simpsons without Chief Wiggum is unthinkable.
