A* grade
hi to everyone viewing this thread.
i really wanna find out the way an A* is calculated. for igcse examinations.
the grade boundaries for the last igcse session stated that an "A* threshold is calculated using the difference between A and B as a starting point."
So lets say the A threshold for paper 3 biology was 44/80 and the B threshold was 37/80
does that mean the A* threshold is 44+(44-37)= 51
so 51/80 is an A*. some one please say i'm correct !!
