Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIIWe aren't in HIS country. This has nothing to do with Islam or any other religion, the word he used is racist in this country and Evra felt that he had been racially abused, that is all that matters. What you are saying about Evra is exactly what I am saying, the boos from us are nothing to do with the media, just like the boos for Suarez aren't. The Suarez thing as in the media so much because of how badly it was handled by Suarez and Liverpool FC, I'm sure that even the most deluded of Liverpool fans will be able to see that.(Original post by WorriedAboutSchool)
Suarez admitted to using a word that in HIS country is acceptable. If thats your logic then you must also believe that muslim people cannot participate in some of their beliefs here as they are not accepted here? Same principle. Evra danced in front of Suarez when you won, of course we boo him. You have changed what I said, I did not say it wasn't in the media, I just said not as much as Suarez. -
Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIII
NOTHING can be done about it. IT HAS BEEN SORTED, doesnt matter if you dont agree with it, lets move on and STOP talking about Suarez. many liverpool fans are disagreeing, especially on here, but you dont see them blabbering, move on, you CANNOT do anything about it. No lfc/manu fan on here wants to talk about it.
some lfc fans just cannot move on. -
First good post i've seen from you.(Original post by lol_this)

It's over now, there's no point digging the bloody subject back up and aimlessly arguing over it when clearly people have 2 opposite stances on it

Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIIThis is the same Evra that uses the racist n word. It was not badly handled by Liverpool, the only thing that I disagree with is that we didn't take it further! Suarez didn't deserve what he got, not even the thing about the money nor the ban. It was the matter of having his reputation trampled on.(Original post by DaveSmith99)

I am not a deluded Liverpool fan, I am a passionate Liverpool fan, who supports her team. Again back to the start, the people who are blaming me about this I shall make it clear now-
I did not bring this up, look ahead in the thread, a Manchester United fan brought it up. I questioned it. If you still want to blame me for it go ahead, I couldn't give a crap. Suarez is innocent, YNWA

Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIIWhat an annoying person. It was neither 'Tommy' nor 'Dave' who started it, it was another Manchester United fan earlier. The other two were not even involved to be honest they involved themselves as did you.(Original post by lol_this)
^ it was clearly you who bought it up by STARTING to talk about Suarez, Tommy and Dave just replied to that.
ALSO- If I did want to bring up Suarez I can, this is a LIVERPOOL forum, Suarez is a LIVERPOOL PLAYER. I tried to make that as obvious as I can for you. And you seem to like capitalising specific words.Last edited by WorriedAboutSchool; 29-07-2012 at 14:07. -
Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIII
Right this is my last post. I'm not replying to anymore Manchester United fans.
1. I did not bring up the Suarez thing, someone else did and I retaliated.
2. I am disappointed in how Liverpool fans are so quick to go against another Liverpool fan and to go against a player.
3. The lack of support for Suarez on here disgusts me, he is innocent, and we should be fighting with him to clear his name.
4. Alike with other things in our past, Liverpool fans, we need to unite! Like what we used to in the past.
5. Last thing, Manchester United, whatever you say we still have more cups than you
-
Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIITbf I did defend him when it all happened i.e. with the lack of evidence and all that. I just think it happened, its now in the past and we just need to move on. If the Man Utd or any other fans for that matter want to call him racist let them, you can't control what other people think. Since when do we or have we ever honestly given two **** about what other supporters think of us and the club. I'm more concerned with how far of the start of the new season is in all fairness!(Original post by WorriedAboutSchool)
It can only be put to bed when people stop calling him a racist if we are honest. Because I am only defending him here from it being brought up by a Man U fan. However I'm not getting much support.
I always thought Liverpool stuck together and defended themselves to the end. Thats why Thatcher hated us. But we are losing that a bit now and losing our fighting spirit a bitLast edited by Mastermind`; 29-07-2012 at 20:55. -

Stop talking about it. Stop trying to accuse us and Suarez of 'bringing it up again' when your fans and Whiskey face are just as much to blame. Oh, and get out the Liverpool thread? -
Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIII
So who's got tickets for games this season?
I've got the Europa League 3rd Qual at Home on 9th August, Bayer Leverkusen friendly 12th August, and then the Arsenal premier League game at the start of September. I'm also signed up to the FA Cup auto-cup scheme.
That's literally all I could afford this time round, and uni is gonna be tough going in to final year!

Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIII'Whiskey face' brings it up when questioned about it because the journalists are talking about it after rat face cries to the media about how unfair his life is. Fans bring it up because they are football fans, thats what football fans do.(Original post by Jim-Jam)

Also I like this thread, think I will stick around

Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIIwell unlike you, the liverpool fans moved on, that is why they are going against you, becuase you keep on bringing it back up and arguing always. They are against this like you, but they dont brag on all about it. Just move on.(Original post by WorriedAboutSchool)

Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIITbhf, its not just a country thing but a south american/Spanish culture thing - you can't say we live in a multicultural society and then deem that people must completely forget their cultures/upbringings and know all the nuances in British culture.(Original post by DaveSmith99)
We aren't in HIS country. This has nothing to do with Islam or any other religion, the word he used is racist in this country and Evra felt that he had been racially abused, that is all that matters. Is negrito a commonly known racist term in this country? I wouldn't say so - when I first heard it, I wondered if it was just another form of using the word ****** and I can see why Evra/others would first be offended by hearing the term, although perhaps he has more cultural awareness/language knowledge than I do.
It's somewhat like the words black and coloured - some people think they definitely are racist, others are unsure and some believe it's acceptable. Think using the word black is the latter and coloured is probably the middle.
Do I think a three man team, who live in a different world to the most of us, who felt the need to make a point and to avoid any slanders against their own reputation, made the right decision? Not really but it's a grey area and I wouldn't be surprised if another three man team came to another conclusion (especially if it had Gus Poyet in it!)
Anyway, it all gets circular and petty and I don't really care anymore. -
Re: The Liverpool FC Thread VIIIPart of the reason Suarez gets so much stick (and will do next season) is that he's also a horrible, cheating get.(Original post by WorriedAboutSchool)
Are you messing...
Rio Ferdinand said a racist word, you know the same reason why Suarez's name has been tarnished. And Ferdinand's actually had evidence as it was on twitter, whereas Suarez's not one camera seen it being said.
Wayne Rooney cheated on his wife with prostitutes if I remember correctly? Thats been left alone now though and we've nothing more to say about it, however Suarez's case still gets horrible remarks and he receives 'boos' on a common basis.
Ryan Giggs slept with his BROTHER'S WIFE. I mean these guys aren't exactly innocent. However, Suarez being 'racist' is the most well known and the 'worst' out of all of them according to the media.
Please continue your story of how hard done by your players are... -

Is our qualification match on tv this thursday?
Is it only Five that has Europa League games or does ESPN show them too?
Either way I'm sure there'll be a stream up somewhere.. -
