Gap year before film school...Does anyone know if it's a good idea to take a gap year before a BA in filmmaking/TV production/animation? You see, I take quite sciency A-Levels, seeing as I wanted to study Physics once upon a time. I don't expect you need to know a lot about filmmaking in order to apply to a film school, but it would probably be a good idea to take a gap year specially to get some work experience e.g. as a runner or maybe begin your own project....
Any ideas? Thanks!
