    Legend of the Green Dragon.
Text based RPG websites with a levelling element.

Anyone aware what they are? The use SQL, PHP and HTML primarily I believe. My problem is that I have very limited coding experience and have no way at the moment to get it. I want to learn and I#m wondering if anyone here would be willing to set me on the right path.

At the moment I have my own site, which a friend of mine is coding for. But it's possible that he might take the site down out of spite, and I really like my idea... I don't want to lose it so I want help to see if I could have my own, where I'm not at the mercy of anyone else.

I know I'm a n00b. But I'm an ambitious n00b. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Not sure why your "friend" would take down your site, but perhaps a starting point would be to ask, tactfully, how he's coding the existing site and use that as a sort of goal for learning.

What's your experience of web development so far?
