i am starting this thread in response to another thread about black people 'acting white' if they dare not conform to the rigid interpretation of what 'being black' is all about.

i believe in america, where this absurdity started, its called 'acting up'.....

basically, if black people study other black people say they are 'acting up', if they talk properly they are 'acting up', if they have no interest in hip hop or gangs they 'acting up', if they do not have a chip on their shoulder they are 'acting up'.....and on and on......basically, any black who wants to create a decent living for themselves is 'acting up'.


so it occurred to me, surly, if black people are 'acting up' for not wanting to be in a street gang, then surely any white person who does not want to spend all day in the pub and get pissed is 'acting asian'?


white people who study hard are clearly trying to be like the chinese. they are 'acting up'.

white people who like noodles are 'acting up'

white people who like martial arts are 'acting up'

white people, you are not white unless you are down the pub. accept this. put down those books and stop 'acting up' to the chinese.....eating rice is betraying your race!!



( of course, i'm joking but i want to highlight just how absurd this 'acting up' thing really is. )

if you want to act a certain way e.g. have some sort of trait like watch anime (japanese cartoons), and its not hurting you or others, or whatever, then do it... dont let other people knock you down for being weird...

ive been told by former classmates that im the white-est asian they know (not skin colour) ... i dont give a **** to be honest... western culture is what i was brought up in... if that means people will think im acting 'white' whatever that is, then so be it...

Most black women permanently straighten their hair. When white people curl their hair it won't be like that permanently.
