I don't think there are any that feel particularly... American. The cultures are quite different.
I reckon Chichester or Winchester. -
Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?Overall feel.(Original post by + polarity -)
So you want buildings that look like that of a US college? -
Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?Not sure, but apparently Chichester, UCL and Winchester have elements of "US college feel" in them(Original post by GrowingNinja)

UCL maybe? Who knows
A city campus feels "college-y"?
Most likely Loughbourough, they are known for sports right? So they are most likely to have facilities like US colleges. -
Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?Hey bud,(Original post by GrantG)
??
The US is my second home and I went primary school there for a while and my dad still lives there so I go down there about 3 times a year....
Anyways, I don't think there is a particular American feeling here in schools, colleges or Universities. I go college and everyone always asks me how are US colleges...
My sister goes to Nottingham trent so I visit her often. I think me and my sister agree Nottingham has a kind of Atlanta and Savannah Georgia feel to it.
I think the reasons for it are is because the downtown area is kind of like Atlanta and the atmosphere is like Savannah because its like a student town and you have students mostly running the place.
What part of the US you from? LA is my second home but I have been down to Atlanta and Savannah a lot as my dad gets sent there quite a lot for his job. -
Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?Its is due to the statue of General Lee in the Old Market Square and the Mint Juleps at the Trip to Jerusalem.(Original post by cool pilot dude)

Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?Yeah, those are some of the reasons(Original post by nulli tertius)
Its is due to the statue of General Lee in the Old Market Square and the Mint Juleps at the Trip to Jerusalem.
But as I said, it looks so much like downtown savannah and Atlanta and the atmosphere also because of the students.
Where are you from bud? have you been to savannah and Atlanta? do you stdy in Nottingham? -
Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?I know Nottingham very well and I have studied (very briefly) in the South in a college town, but not Georgia.(Original post by cool pilot dude)
Yeah, those are some of the reasons

Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?Damn Anericans coming to our country, stealing our university places...(Original post by multiplexing-gamer)

Re: Which UK university campus has the most US college-y feel to it?I recently spent a weekend at Nottingham Uni, and that campus was simply amazing, quite 'americanised'. The buildings, open greens spaces, I honestly didn't think I was still in the UK, nevermind Nottingham.(Original post by GrantG)
