    Surely (though I agree that it makes people look pretentious) if done correctly, it actually shows off the best aspect of the English language - that it can absorb words from other languages? Certain French words and phrases are probably now English idioms as well.

    It's not that bad

    Maybe I need to spend more time avec French people so I can understand their point of view more.
