My vision is not as 'sharp'
    Hi,

I don't know how to describe it exactly, but my vision is not as sharp as it used to be. I might be imagining that it used to be better, but everything always feels like it is in soft focus slightly. A bit like nothing is quite real and that I am always tired.

I do not get as much sleep as I should, but when I do it is the same. Does anyone else have this? Is there a way to fix this? When I am very alert then it is back to normal and things are clear but that is very rare and has not happened in a long time.

I have noticed having to get closer to things to see them if they are a bit small.

Go to an optician and get your eyes tested!

Yup, sounds like you're getting short sighted. Join the club, along with most of the millions of people who wear contacts / glasses!

I think that our eyes tend to find it easier to focus in bright light than in low light (due to the changing depth of field as the pupil dilates and contracts), which may explain why it seems to be variable.

Go to an optician. And unless you're eligible for an NHS voucher take your credit card, glasses are not cheap
