GCSE AQA Triple Science... :@Anyone else find the marking for these exams annoyingly picky?! You can have basically the right answer but not be allowed it because you didn't include one word... or have the right answer but it's not allowed... gah especially biology!

Re: GCSE AQA Triple Science... :@I had a B2 question yesterday that thoroughly annoyed me. It was about why alveoli are adapted to maximise breathing. So obviously I put down what we had been taught in class and the textbook: large surface area for more diffusion, thin cell membrane for rapid diffusion and moist surface for gaseous exchange. Then in the marking scheme it explicitly said 'ignore reference to moist'. Very annoying. Apparently I am now to put 'rich blood supply to maintain concentration gradient'. Can you tell that I am practicing my revision in this post?
