Are grades BBC at A-level any good nowadays?
I'm aiming to get BBC in Geography, English Lit and Biology respectively, which I would get into uni with. Is BBC any good in today's world, with all these people getting A and A* grades? I just feel inadequate compared to people with higher grades!

It's not amazing, but it's good enough to get you into a decent uni. Unless you're wanting to do something really competitive.

TSR is not representative of the population :p: I got BBC, went to uni, did an MSc, now I have a training contract for my professional qualifications at a multi-national company.

Not bad for someone who did French, Business Studies and Law!

I'd be more than happy with BBC. And liek others have said, it'll get you into a decent uni as long as you arent going for something really competitive.

    :hugs:

Yes it is good. It doesn't matter what other people get. It only matters that you get the grades you're hoping to get

I got BBC and I was distraught, but that was because I was predicted aab.
I'm still annoyed about my grades - but I know they're not bad!
You'll do well with them - plus, no one looks at them once you have a degree.

I got BBC (1 UMS point off an A in one subject, and five UMS away from an A in another), got into uni, worked hard, got a 2:1 and got a graduate job doing exactly what I wanted. Your A Level grades are next to irrelevant once you have a degree, although may play a part if it's very competitive.
