    just wondering, roughly, how long does it take for your thread to appear on the student room?

    Threads appear immediately, unless they're caught by various criteria under which pre-moderation is required (e.g., threads/posts from new members that include links) - in which case hopefully within a couple of hours, depending on when the moderation team are available to review the thread.
