I like this guy but I haven't spoken to him yet. We keep locking eyes and I smile at him and sometimes make flirty faces, but he never smiles back, he just looks at me then looks away. If he'd have given some kind of signal back that he liked me I would have talked to him. My friend told me he looked at me again after I had smiled at him the other day so I thought that was a positive sign. Later I was talking to someone and he walked right past and looked at me and I looked at him and then he walked away. I thought maybe he was trying to talk to me but didn't because I was in the middle of a conversation, so I noticed he had gone outside and went out and sat on a table in front of where he was standing with his friends. Then he walked back inside on his own, leaving his friends still stood behind me. I can't work him out!

He is probably shy. So I think striking up a conversation could be the way to go, something light-hearted . If he is really shy he may take ages to make a move or ask you out. He may not be shy of course, but that is the impression I get. Also I think he would have realised that you like him.

He likes you, sounds a bit like me. Try and talk to him, if you see him alone.

Yes, he's either a little shy or doesn't know if you're trying to get his attention or not; chatting with him at some point and casually flirting with him would help him realize you want him to talk to you

At uni. He doesn't seem shy with his friends, I've seen him be really fun and crazy. I have tried everything to get his attention but he really does not seem to notice me. My friends have been trying to help me and they say he's in his own world and is oblivious to my very obvious and blatant flirting.

Just say hi to him. He sounds like a carbon copy of me. If you're with your friends, he won't be eager to talk to you. If you guys happen to be alone then talk to him.

he might be a bit shy. I can't say if he 'likes' you or not, or is just curious about you, but find a way to strike up conversation and see what happens. if he looks at you he seems curious to know you at least, so even if he doesn't fancy you yet, you could work on that. just make sure his personality is as nice as his face

Update: Ended up going to a flat party which happened to be in his flat so he was there, and I went over and chatted a little and introduced myself and he told me his name said he didn't really know anyone there so I introduced him to my friend. I said a few things to him later but he didn't say a lot and we never really got into a proper conversation. He kept going in and out of the room and I got stuck talking to other people for ages. I saw him out again two days later, so I went over and said his flat party was fun and the music was awesome and he said he didn't remember a lot of it honestly. I told him my friend was having a flat party afterwards and told him where it was and to come, and he said yes, but he didn't seem too interested and I felt like I should leave and not carry on talking. Later I saw him with his friends and walked over and he saw me and walked out the door straight away without even saying anything to his friends. I waited for him to turn up at the flat party afterwards and he never did. Then I walked home and walking past his flat I heard music and saw people on the balcony, so he was obviously having his own party and didn't invite me or even bother to tell me he was busy. It's obvious he doesn't like me but I don't know why.

It confuses me cuz I've made friends with one of his female friends and she's lovely and really cool, and I see him smiling and laughing with other people but never with me. He just seems like he really doesn't like me, yet other guys like me and quite a few guys tried to hit on me at his party and i'm just like, what is it that attracts these guys but not the guy I like?
