HTC decisions!
Hi, I'm looking into getting a new phone from Phones 4 U, as I'd be receiving cashback from them, and I'm thinking of getting an HTC. Now, I have a bit of a dilemma - I can get the Sensation XE with Beats with 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb data for £21.50 p/m, or I can get the newer One S, but that only has 100 minutes, which I'm not sure will be enough when I start uni in September. Is the One S really that much a better phone than the Sensation XE? I'd mainly be using it for music, a bit of basic internet, texts and calls obv. Does anyone have any opinions they'd like to share on these models, or any other suggestions? Thanks a lot

Re: HTC decisions! They are very similar, the One S will obviously be more powerful being a newer phone and it has a larger inbuilt memory, the One S also has a higher quality screen. It's slimmer and lighter to boot. However for music and web browsing the experience will be roughly identical.(Original post by Iaso)

Re: HTC decisions!
There is no doubt about it that the One S is a better phone, by a mile in fact. Beats earphones are a joke anyway, and the Sensation XE is an extremely old phone. The One S has a far better processor and much better camera. Web browsing will be much faster because of the processor, and games and general apps will perform better.
In fact i dont think the two phones are even on the same planet as each other, definitely get the One S! -
Re: HTC decisions!
You can get the One X or even the Galaxy S3 for £21.50 per month with 100 minutes (not saying these are the best deals, just found them from a quick search). 100 minutes is just not enough imo, neither is 500mb of data, hence why they are so cheap.
I think you should first note down how many minutes you need as minimum, how much data you can live with etc Then start looking for phone deals that match. There is no sense in getting a super-duper phone, only to find your contract cripples your use of it.Last edited by silent ninja; 23-05-2012 at 21:59. -
100% agree with this. Neither deal seems that great..(Original post by silent ninja)

Re: HTC decisions! You can get the One S for 27 a month, for 12 months. I think that trumps everything in this thread so far.(Original post by mikeyd85)

Re: HTC decisions!Depends on the minutes / data... but bloody hell! A 12m contract? I thought they were extinct!(Original post by Sgt.Incontro)

Re: HTC decisions!Rather surprisingly they give you 300 mins as well! (Most are 100 mins, including my own one...) Half a gig data as well.(Original post by mikeyd85)
