I'm not sure - I just can't see myself in a career that I'd need an English degree for, and a lot of the things I'd want to do don't require a degree. Of course I will get a degree, but I'm not as obsessed by that goal as I was, say, six months ago. I feel free!

I think I just want to get a passport and go travel to world. Like in those cheesy soul-searching movies. I've never really understood all that stuff about wanting to 'find yourself', but I'm starting to get it now. I've never felt truly comfortable anywhere, so I'm really interesting to find some peace if you get what I mean.

I think that sounds like an IMDB movie description...

I honestly don't know. I don't spend much money now, so I probably have a bit in the bank (probably not much though), and I'll probably get a part time job while I'm at university. To be honest, all I need is a bit of money and I can get to France via the Eurotunnel. After that, Europe is my oyster!

I like Koalas and jungles, but I just can't get over the spiders.

For my gap year I'll be working in Japan and Korea, and then backpacking across China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and India. Can't wait!
