Ayia napa- how much money to take?
Hey, I'm going to napa in July with 3 other guys and just wondered how much money to take?
We are self catered buy that's probably only 2 meals a day. Obviously we will buy snacks there, and maybe bodge a meal or 2 while we are there to save cash.

How much are drinks out and buying them at off licenses? And what about activities like baba boat, jet ski, quads etc?

Will something like €300 cut it?

    Ta

600 - 1000 euros with your parents on speed dial! Best to make sure and to enjoy it. Have a great time!

To be fair we went out for dinner every single night and normally had lunch at breakfast at a semi decent place as well. In magaluf we went go karting 3 or 4 times and did all the watersports stuff at the beach and then at night a few times bought bottles of champagne etc which is stupid as I don't like the taste. It can easily add up if you do alot of activities. Realistically you could do a week on 300 euros though.

I thought £600 would cut it for a week? How much would flights and accomodation cost (cheapest)?

300euros for the week...no chance, unless you want to do very little and not have a great time, especially not in July (you could get away with it perhaps in off season and would still have to do very little). Double your budget atleast, and believe me it will be money well spent.

For real? Looks like I'll be dipping into my overdraft to fund Napa then

I'm going in the middle of June, and am such a lightweight that 6 pints will have me passing out on the floor, but I'm guessing that neither of those will make too much of a difference.

You can probably do it on less if your less of a drinker, BUT certainly wouldnt advise taking anything less than 500 Euros and that is a bit of a stretch (I assuming your going at a peak time too). When are you going, with how many people, are you close to the square and what did you pay for the deal (if you dont mind me asking)?

Hmm I see... At the moment it looks like I could stretch to 450 euros max. I'm going for a week on June 13th with 7 other people, booked it with Thomson and we paid £380 each (down from about £420). We were originally going to pay about £350 each but we ended up going for the more expensive deal because the hotel is (apparently) centrally located.
