    Hi all,

I have recently damaged the laptop provided to me by invate the company who provided the equipment through DSA/SFE now i do not know if they will cover than or not ? does anyone have an idea about that?
I am really lost without the laptop and I appreciate it if someone answers me.

Another thing do we have to apply for DSA again this year or is it the same application we did last year it will be going on for the the whole duration of the course?

Yes, you need to apply each year. However, you don't need to have another assessment unless your needs have changed.

As far as the laptop goes, my equipment was provided by a different company, but the paper work I received told me I had to take out accidental damage cover for the laptop (in my case I have it included on my home insurance policy.)

Equipment insurance is normally included for the duration of your course but the type of cover depends on the supplier. If you dropped the laptop that should be covered. Check with your supplier who should be able to help you make your claim.
