The mercs have amazing traction off corners so far this season so I'd put my money on them mixing it up with the mclarens at the front. Behind these two teams I see an almighty scrap, and then Caterham, Virgin and HRT battling it out with Massa at the rear.

I'm predicting a Williams podium. Not sure what step, but a podium nonetheless.

If it correctly predicts a Hispania win I'll run round Oxford naked...

With the amount of racing we've actually had this season, plus the competitiveness of the entire field thus far, I certainly predoct a race of high attrition this year.

Apparently Pirelli are prepared to supply a set of tyres solely for use in Q3 to increase running:

What do you guys think? I know some of you are very anti-Pirelli at the moment, and most people are unhappy with the way qualifying strategies are at the moment, so it could be a positive step.

I think that's a great idea. Give the teams two sets of quali tyres that are grippy as hell but are destroyed after one fast lap. Then we'll see the cars at their absolute fastest - no fuel and bucket loads of grip. Plus, if the teams are given two sets of tyres each they'll actually be encouraged to make a couple of fast laps, rather than sitting out for the first 7 minutes of the session and putting a lap in at the end.

It'd also have the benefit of slightly extending the first stint in the race, as the tyres will be 3-4 laps newer.

I think Monaco is over rated and is a boring race. I dont get why everyone thinks it is amazing. Only go there for Money

Apparently they resurfaced the braking zone after the tunnel exit and made it level with no bumps in the braking area. Hopefully this means more drivers will feel more confident to stick one up the inside.

A repeat of last year without the rosberg, perez crash and without the red flag at the end would be a good weekend of racing!

I agree, it might also help establish a hierachy of cars, it's been quite difficult to do that this year so far.

I hadn't considered the implications it would have on race tyres, but that would give teams a bit more room for maneuvere, so hopefully there would be less situations like Raikkonen's sudden drop from 3rd to 12th or whatever it was.

Alonso's Monaco helmet looks pretty awesome! I still prefer the one he had last year though.
