Nice to see Schumi has an answer to the critics, shame about his penalty though.

The oldest driver to set the fastest lap in qualifying since Jack Brabham in 1970. And on the track that is supposedly the biggest test of driving ability. Amazing.

    SCHUMIIIIII :woo:

What a champion of a man!! Epic pole position, a 43 year old man just laid the smackdown on everybody on the hardest circuit of them all :woo:

Great moment, and needless to say Schumi has been so unlucky this season. Such a shame about the penalty, a pole here could've done wonders.

Fantastic speed from Webber, especially considering where Vettel is.

Shocked about how the Lotus went, especially Kimi.

Yeah, one-handed through Tabac whilst changing brake bias. No questions of reflexes there...

Maybe if Schumi is about, next year they could get Barichello to do commentary with DC

Can't say I noticed it, but I wasn't really paying too much attention once Q3 finished.

While this penalty benefits Hamilton, and I don't really want to see Senna's 6 time victory record matched, would be awesome to see Schumacher have a perfect weekend

I wasn't watching the BBC feed but a lot of people are saying he was so :dontknow:

Yeah when you put things into perspective, just shows how significant Schumi's career has been. One more victory and he matches Senna, it is such a shame about that penalty. This guy can't catch a break this season.

"I have to say a great thanks to all the team, particularly some of the guys who work very closely with me - we had a special session earlier this week that unified and united us even further.

"This is the result that comes together from that. I am grateful to the trust that Mercedes and the team had in me, they supported me. I am happy to give it back and want to give more back tomorrow."
