"There is a bit of a row going on behind the scenes about the Red Bull floor - with McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari all unhappy about it. The argument centres on the area in front of the rear wheels. The Ferrari has a slot here to improve airflow, but it is a cut-out which runs to the outside edge of the floor in an open-ended rectangle. But Red Bull's is closed off at the outside edge, so it is effectively a hole. Their rivals believe this is not allowed. Will there be a protest?"
Holes and slots again. Have we timewarped back to 2009?

Could be a protest looming after the race as the Red Bull floor comes under scrutiny from the other teams. Interesting times ahead #F1

I wonder what has been seen that they don't like? I can't find any reports online, just tweets
tedkravitz Other teams believe Red Bull have a hole on their floor in front of rear tyre that is illegally situated.

It would take Red Bull 2 mins to change but would mean both WEB and VET starting from pit lane. Big decision for CHorner: or are they legal?

Gonna be working so will miss the F1 and I am gutted because qualifying was such a climax. I will just have to settle for BBC Iplayer and pray that nobody tells me the results.

    Enjoy the race peeps

Oooh I have Maldonado aswell, that will be good.

That said, my others arn't looking too impressive this weekend, although I have McL, so Hamilton should get me some good points
I've got Mclaren, Red Bull and Lotus so should be a happy hunting ground for me today...unless Ferrari and Mercedes do well

I am secretly hoping Schumacher wins this GP. He's had terrible luck the first few races and so really want his fortunes to change. Webber beating Vettel would do nicely as well. I want a similar enthralling race as last years but without the red flag towards the end!

I don't think the Mercedes' will have enough downforce where it counts to be able to overtake effectively, so unless he pulls off something spectacular strategy-wise then I can't see him going forwards. Same goes for Rosberg. Tomorrow looks to be a fight between Webber, Hamilton and Grosjean, perhaps even Alonso since the Ferrari's are looking stronger.
I personally reckon Merc will have great race pace, and I'm rooting for Schu to win....and I will cheer very loudly if he does.....here's hoping!

Yeah I'd love a Schumacher win, but I think it's gotta be time for Hamilton's luck to improve!

I didn't get to watch last years, I was on holiday, and heard snippets of it on the radio in the car (Scotland has bad radio signal in the wilderness!) it was frustrating not being able to see it!

Looking very good for rain between 1-2 which should make this race even more interesting (zoom in on the south eastern corner of France).

Mark's starts this season have been sluggish, maybe Nico or Lewis can get the jump on him!

    I just love BBC's coverage, **** Sky!!

That Lewis and Jenson bit was just too cute!!

Havn't noticed it as much this season, but last year he was notorious for not getting the power down, that could happen here again I guess

I prefer many things on the BBC however i cannot stand their Mclaren bias, its worse than the people saying Hamilton will win on here.

    Plus the Skypad is great.
