That's soo good...I haven't heard back yet, hopefully should hear back this week
What course are you studying?
And you? -
Re: Abertay uni accomodationSo does that mean 1st years can apply for the accommodation that says "mature student (20+)"? Because I feel there is little choice for 1st year students.(Original post by Psych0 Penguin)
Just got an offer back for Vic Chambers - gonna be a 1st year too. -
Re: Abertay uni accomodationFirst years can apply for Victoria Chambers, I lived there this year along with many others who were also first years. Feel free to ask if you have any questions(Original post by VladThe1mpaler)

Re: Abertay uni accomodationOk thanks. The only thing I was wondering is if it is all same-sex accommodation or if there is mixed sex? I don't think it specifies on the abertay website, but I know Alloway Halls is all same-sex.(Original post by Chana)

Re: Abertay uni accomodationYeah - It means just that - if you are 20 or over you'll be more likely to be put there whatever year you are in.(Original post by VladThe1mpaler)

As far as I am aware they're pre-dominantly same-sex but you can specify which you want in your application.(Original post by VladThe1mpaler)

Re: Abertay uni accomodationIt is mixed due to it basically being corridors of 17-18 people sharing rather than flats. Although the ground floor is four flats of 2-4 people sharing and the top floor 9 people sharing.(Original post by VladThe1mpaler)

Re: Abertay uni accomodationOh ok I see. Thanks. Guess I should call and tell them that I would prefer a room for myself but En-Suite as I applied for.(Original post by Jamesnoble1)
Twin means theres 2 beds in the room -
Re: Abertay uni accomodationIt`s around 400. If it is a double bed then lucky me I guess.(Original post by THESHade)
I think Twin means that you hav a double bed? Well, u can say by the prize, i fit` s 250 per month then James is right. If it`s around 400, then u geta double size d bed + en-suite
