[Agenda Suicide]

Bit of a weird question but basically I've played guitar on and off for like a year now and just recently I've really got into it.

The only thing is I have always learnt sitting down and now when I stand up I can't play it properly.

It's partly because the guitar is leant forward a bit more and when I glance down I can't see the fret board as much.


Has anybody got any tips who plays guitar?

Perhaps a dumb question but you do have a guitar strap right? Makes it easier to play while standing.

Yeah lol, this is whilst it's strapped on and my back is holding the weight haha.

If your strap is too loose it can make playing very difficult. Don't worry about looking silly, make sure your guitar is high up enough.

Otherwise just keep practicing, like with most things - the more you practice playing standing up, the better you'll become at it.

the same used to happen to me....

i couldnt play good while standing, no matter how high i placed the guitar....

I used to play, then i took an arrow to the knee...

Just keep practising standing up, I couldn't play standing up at all, but after a while it's almost as good as my sitting down now

get it right up to your chin, dont worry about how it looks cos its how they do it and theyre both legends innit

I never used to be able to play my guitar standing up, it just takes practice
