    Greek holiday suggestions
Me and my boyfriend really want to go to Greece, preferably a Greek island. We definitely want to avoid the whole Malia thing! So I'm just looking for some tips and suggestions on where to go to have a lovely, sunny, Greek holiday

depends on what you like and how long you are going for.If you haven't been there, Santorini is the number one place to visit

It would be a week, and we basically just want to experience authentic Greece. I've been to Crete before and the resort we stayed in was just full of Irish bars :/ I'll give Santorini a look!

did you have the time to explore Crete?cause it's a great place.other good options would be Kefalonia and Corfu.but as I said Santorini never disappoints.

Yeah we did all the touristy things, went to Knossos, Spinalonga, took boat trips and shopped in Heraklion. It was all lovely, the resort was just a bit disappointing! Thanks for the suggestions

if you really don't want to go to the very touristy places, there are other options such as Andros, Patmos, Astupalaia and so on
