    New person right here !
Well this is a bit awkward isn't it ? Introducing yourself is actually harder than it looks,I'm trying to find something interesting to say but I'm coming up blank so here is some factual information.I'm just coming to the end of my GCSEs and tomorrow I have an English literature retake which I'm meant to be revising for, but procrastinating always looks more appealing. I took 3 exams today and have 11 left until Year 11 is over...finally. Of these 3 exams I'm pretty certain I failed 1 which is depressing because I need the grade. So this was my attempt at introducing my socially inept self, thank you for reading my rants about my exams, it's kind of like therapy. Bye

Hello new, socially inept person :3 i suppose i'm obliged to say welcome to the student room :p i'm in year 11 too, just 10 exams left (poetry exam and chemistry resit on thursdsay.... yeahh i should probably be revising too..) And don't worry about the rant(s), it's nice to see someone else has the same feeling towards the exams that i do!

I'm Humza by the way :)

Hello Humza , I am doing the poetry exam and science resit as well . Forgive my nosiness but what did you get in your first sitting of the chemistry ? I find comfort in the fact someone else shares my opinion regarding exams, it doesn't make me seem so abnormal. There's a guy called Humza who does the Diary Of A Badman videos on YouTube, have you seen them ?

    I'm Becca by the way

(if you don't mind my asking).. haha i think you'd be abnormal if that wasn't your opinion! and i have indeed, and i absolutely love them :D

We will be united in our pain, that's a nice thought . I got a low A and I need 80 UMS in unit 3 to get an A*, so I am retaking to decrease this value, which I think is a waste of time.We are in the same boat as I am also taking chemistry for A-level so I need high grades too! I love them too, my friend got me totally hooked . Humza is a really cool name , I also like the name Wahab .

Hi Jessica, I wish you the best of luck in your exams, if GCSE's are hard then I can't even comprehend what university will be like. It almost makes me cringe. It is important to have time off and relax but I seem to spend too much time relaxing . Oops . I hope you achieve the grades you are working for, I hope your revision pays off xx

Nope I'm on AQA , doing unit 1 resit which is limestone, fractional distillation, hydrocarbons etc. I am taking biology , which is the exam I failed, history and English Literature , you ? The guy is just too funny. Wahab is a Pakistani cricketer ,I don't actually watch cricket but my Asian friend had this obsession with the sport . The name just rolls off the tongue

Ohh haha I have to do so much in the exam, it’s so stupid how much I have to re-learn D: aw I’m sure you did fine I’m doing biology as well, physics and music . Oh I kinda like cricket but I’m not much into sport anymore it does doesn’t it..

I haven't done this unit since year 10 so I've forgotten most of it . It doesn't help that polymers sounds like Olly Murs . Thank you , I did look on the unofficial mark scheme on here and I made some ridiculously stupid mistakes. I like physics but it didn't go with chemistry. What do you want to be ? I have NEVER watched a cricket game , I don't watch much sport . Wahab is like the name Bob , the mouth makes funny shapes when you pronounce it. I'm a bit dumb, so how do I accept your friend request thing, why can't this be more like Facebook ?

Although that does mean you've done it all already (besides, you've already got at least an A, so don't worry). Jeez thanks for putting that in my head, now if i write about Olly Murs in the exam i'm blaming you ;p Don't think about it now, there's nothing you can do! just think that you did fine, and get on with your other exams! I want to be a doctor (then retire and be a musician-that's my life planned out) you? haha i've watched (and played) a few, but not recently.. don't worry, i think you already have :)

I revise vigorously and then the information tends to dissipate out of my brain. The A is good , at least I have a safety net . Now you have this knowledge of Olly Murs you will never be able to look at chemistry in the same way. I have resided myself to the fact I will get an overall A in biology and I'm happy, it is just so hard to forget and move past an exam that is really important . I want to be a biochemist and do a 5 year degree with 1 year management and 1 year professional placement in Birmingham or I want to go into law.Why do you want to go into medicine ? Yes I did I muddled around with some buttons .

Then just dissipate it back in ;) oh god i know, i'm definitely going to end up writing it somewhere on my tests, then frantically scribble it out and silently curse you ;3 That's good, don't beat yourself up about it! That's pretty cool :) a couple of my friends want to go into law as well.. umm.. i guess my dad (also a doctor) kinda influenced me, but essentially i think that the feeling you must get when you save someone's life must be the most amazing sensation in the world, and to be able to get that every day must be awesome! (also the salary's pretty good ;') hehe yayy fwend ;3

It is harder to retain the information with so many other things going on, I have already started my caffeine diet. Imagine the reaction of the examiner when you start talking about pop artists :') I couldn't live with myself if anyone died, I would feel responsible but I guess the knowledge that you have helped someone live and benefited them and provided another chance at life would be rewarding. The salary is good but the time training and preparing is long and you have to do all the extra stuff on the way, where do you want to study ?

Aww but caffeine rocks xD haha that'd be pretty funny; they'd reread it like so many times, and clean their glasses (which i imagine they have-yay stereotyping!) Yeah it's a lot of pressure, but that's why there's so much training (and a 6 year course at uni). I'm hoping to study at Cambridge, if i get the required grades.. you?
