Going to a gig alone - Manchester...Hi guys, I thinking about going to Manchester in July to see a Morrissey gig in the Arena - no one ever comes to my city (well, no one that I want to see). I'm not sure about it though since I've never been to a gig alone before and I'm not too familiar with Manchester. It's a nighttime event too and the trains will be mad coming home.
I just feel like it's one of those things that I'll think 'I wish I'd done that...'.
Has anyone else traveled to go to gig on their own, how was it? -

Talk to people there if you want, people will should be cool - and whether you do or don't you won't be the only one there alone.
Besides, when the show is on it's not like you're socialising with mates anyway. -

Do it, I've been to many gigs alone and I look back on them more fondly than most gigs I've been to with mates
Chances are you'll get chatting with someone and make a new mate, but worst case scenario you'll just stay quiet all night, that doesnt take away from it though
