Hi.. so I'm not sure if this should go under English or Theatre/Performance Arts
but what is the word for when you describe a theatre/theatrical component in a play or poem?

'a tedious theatre' - from the play The Duchess of Malfi.

There is this special word but I can't remember what it is.

If there isn't.. sorry for wasting people's time but I'm sure there was but I lost the paper where i wrote this down.
