is it really worth making a thread like this? I mean, why don't we just forget it now? What's done is done. It was a horrible test, but this'll only make you think about it more. How about forgetting about bio, and thinking about your other exams eh?

I'm guessing everyone found it difficult eh? Hopefully low, I really need the A. Wasn't January pretty low?

I think they will be quite low as a lot of people found it quite a difficult paper. :/

No actually Jan 2012 was quite high it was 73 for an A
Im hoping the grade boundary is as low as 60 for an A because usually you would need to get 66 for an A on other past paper and this paper was a killer so yeah

Im sorry but I honestly cannot fathom why this paper is thought to be exponentially difficult. Yes, the paper was not straight forward (the staus quo with OCR) and was some-what challenging but by no means was it not impossible. I think (of what I can recall) 60% of the paper was very do-able and the 4 pages of 'suggest' type questions were asked to differentiate between the naturally clever people from the ones who whore mark schemes.

Judging from puplic perception of this paper i'd say that 63-65 raw marks would get you an A

Doubt it, the paper was not exactly hard. Grade boundaries are going to be much higher expecting 70-73 for an A.
