got n=36
literally did every past paper since 2008 and this was by FARRRrr the hardest 1. Sampling distributions of the range are not even in the text book!!!!
My teachers (who had the paper afterwards) said they were unsure as to whether the last question was x-b(10,0.6) or x-Po(6) so i reckon they are both going to be right (I did binomial btw) -
