FP2 EDEXCEL Friday 22nd June PM - SOLUTIONS IN FIRST POST
Here are the solutions. I thought the paper was pretty easy.

If anyone spots any mistakes just let me know and I'll correct them (it's too early in the morning for further pure maths!)

Did you not feel it was slightly less challenging than previous papers?

Nope - I thought last years was really easy.

Which parts in particular. I thought without the complex transformation a hard polar area and nasty 2nd order it was perhaps less taxing than last year.
When I went through it the thing that struck me most was the amount of number crunching and messy answers rather than really hard questions as such.

    7B - which mean't I couldn't do 7C and for some reason I couldn't get 6B to work and that mean't I couldn't do 7C. Also 8C I didn't like. Wasn't sure if my answer for 2 was correct as I couldn't get an extact answer.

I don't remember the question, what was 7c asking for?

The half-line in 8b was passing through the circle centre, right?

    Yes
    If i remember correctly the answer to 2nd order differential equation was \displaystyle Ae^{-2t} + Be^{-3t} + \frac{3}{10} \cos t + \frac1{10} \sin t

Though 't' might have been 'x' and 3/10 and 1/10 may be the other way round, i don't clearly remember the answers.

    Did you got something similar?

What did you get for the polar question?

Excuse me,why do you put -2 firstly then -3? Imo,I thought I always put smaller one first i.e.Ae^-3t+Be^-2t . Dose it matter? If I was wrong, how many marks would I lose?

    Edit:Why a neg?I don't understand ...
