Dissatisfaction with english and geography at Sussex?
The new guardian league table has just come out, and Sussex has fallen 16 places from 11th to 27th. This doesn't bother me, as I know the guardian is the least accurate league table and that Sussex is still a reputable university.

However, reports comment on how poor satisfaction rates with the english and geography departments are the reason for the slip - this has left me feeling a tad uncertain. I've firmed Sussex for geography next year, and i'm worried by this news obviously.

Can anyone studying english or geography at Sussex shed any light upon this?

I do English and I don't have many complaints; the course is challenging and interesting and 90% of the staff are extremely helpful, intelligent and dedicated to their work. I've had a few minor quibbles, but I'd expect that to happen at any university.
