If you're doing the full course..
- Make the same number of points than how many marks there are (2 marks = 2 points)
- With definition Qs, don't use the word in your description
- Practice 6 mark "essay" questions and make sure you could do a 6 marker for every topic
- With the 10 multiple choice Qs, eliminate the definite wrong ones first
Good luck! -
Re: Edexcel GCSE PE exam 23rd may 2012Can you give an example of a 6 mark question please? I cant find past papers anywhere, I think its because of new paper(Original post by TW2112)

Re: Edexcel GCSE PE exam 23rd may 2012
Our PE teacher thinks the big essays will be on either Drugs or Diet.
So Learn:
Beta Blockers - lows heart rate, steadies hands, can cause heart failure
Anabolic Steroids- Mimics testosterone, increases muscle/bone mass, increases aggression, can cause cancer, infertility, and women facial hair
Diuretics - causes weight loss, masks traces of other drugs, can cause dehydration and cramp
Stimulants - affects CNS, makes you more aware, can be addictive and cause high blood pressure and strokes
Narcotic Analgesics - masks pain, still train when injured, addictive and can causes low blood pressure
Peptide Hormones - stimulates production of hormones, EPO helps to increase aerobic capacity, they cause strokes and abnormal growth
If you did food tech last week you're fine on the diet part wooo
I have RE on that day too, and English Lit the day after pity me -
