socal work bursery and student finance
    hi.

i have been offered a full time social work place at bradford university. I have accepted

I am now worried about money.
I have already done a 3 year degree and recieved student finance so dont have a clue what im going to do for money.

i work at the moment but will have to stop to go to uni, I live on my own in a private rented house with two children aged 2 in october and 5 in july.

could some one please advise me of what i am entitled to as of september.
i would like to know how much this is too roughly?

will i be entitled to housing benefit?
    childcare?
    student loan?
    nhs bursery.

just a basic list of what and how much i could be entitled to. I dont have a clue

    thank you

I'd phone student finance tomorrow if I were you. They do advise that you look into what you are entitled to before you accept, incase you cannot afford to go.. Espcially if you have already been to uni

    Sorry!

You should (I think) be entitled to the NHS bursery, but you won't get a student loan for a second degree. You could look into Career Development Loans, but they are only given for a maximum of two years.

    Hi there.

I am in a similar situation. I have been accepted on to social work course in September but as I already have a degree I am not entitled for the loan.

However when I rang student finance I was told about a gift year. Which means I can get a loan but only for my final year. I was also told because I am doing social work I should qualify for the maintenance grant or loan.

I am just passing on what I was told so hope the information is correct and hope this helps you.
