Re: Programme sellers
I AM!! Can't wait! Can't believe the lack of information though - I got the Games Maker training CD through the post the other day but it's hardly specific to the job. We've had so little information! My brother is a games maker and not getting paid and he's already attended three training sessions! It's all rather odd. Where did you put down to work?

Re: Programme sellersyeah tell her to introduce herself(Original post by Taffyuk)

omg same, thats mainly one of the reasons why I started this thread - its quite worrying how little information we have been given! And I agree, the training CD wasn't very useful.
What role is your brother doing?
And also, have you heard anything about when we have to collect uniform? I really want my uniform!
I put down wimbledon so hopefully I get it. What about you? -
Re: Programme sellersMy brother's a steward at Hadleigh farm and the place where they're doing the kayaking, I think.(Original post by Rh122)

Wimbledon sounds awesome! I put down Hadleigh Farm (Mountain biking) as I live 5 minutes walk away and I also put down the Olympic Park - not sure whether I'll get it though. Fingers crossed!
No idea about uniform! I hope they let us know what's going on soon
-
Re: Programme sellersWow that'd be so good if you got to see some of the mountain biking! I didn't realise hadleigh farm was one of the venues(Original post by Zaf47)

Re: Programme sellersYay, I'm glad people have replied. Nope haven't got my schedule, havent been given any info really. It's annoying as its not that far off and we have no idea what's happening. Volunteers seem to be getting more info than us programme sellers.(Original post by amys165)
Me too, so happy this page is here
has anyone got their schedule yet, I really want to know when we're supposed to be working, I think I put down to be in the Olympic Stadium/Park, but I don't really mind where I work

Re: Programme sellersI know, they've found out loads about it and have got their schedules already, the contract said that they'd let us know a month before our shifts at the lastest, so they've got just over a week until its a month to the start(Original post by Rh122)

Re: Programme sellersI think they might've finished employing people for it? Cos it was a while ago that i had my interview. But have a look on the jobs for the games website, you never know(Original post by tj hughes)
Thanks a lot, so the programme sellers are no longer available? :-(
the company in charge of programmes is cmi. And if there are any jobs left, the interview is quite easy
as long as you have some sort of experience and can count!

Eeeep! Got a new email today (FINALLY)...
"We will be in touch over the next week with shift schedules, and details about the collection of security passes and uniforms."
Nice of them to let us know what's going on I suppose, I'll be eagerly anticipating this email!
