Do you HAVE to resit a module if you fail it?
This might be a stupid question but... I'm in first year and if I fail two modules but still pass the year as a whole.. do I have to resit the modules I failed? Or do you only have to resit them if you don't progress onto second year?

You can't progress to the next year unless you get 40% + on every mandatory module. So if you get less than 40% on two modules you will have to resit them both if you want to progress to 2nd year.

I think you can "vire", ie if you fail ONE module by 5% you don't need to retake, but I think if you fail 2 then you have to retake in August. Not sure if this is for all courses though.
