What was the command word for Quickdraw? Was it compare or explore? Also, for the unseen I didn't do an introduction so I hope this doesn't matter
I can't really remember, I think it was to compare, that's what i've done ... and I don't think it would've mattered if you had an introduction or not~ the examiner might've liked you going straight to the point!

In terms of strucute for Section A, is it okay to have done the following...

PARAGRAPH 1: Quickdraw (analyse language), whereas Rossetti in Sister Maude employs... (analyse language)...

Three of these paragraphs, along with an intro and a conclusion with a personal response? Taa x
That sounds pretty good to me! As long as you had Point, Evidence, and Analysis in each paragraph, it seems like a really good structure- from what I've heard, examiners like it when you combine both poems in one paragraph, it shows a high skill than doing 3 paragraphs on poem one, and then 3 on poem two, for example

You're doing it right- except you only need to post once in a thread saying the same thing!
Go back and look through the pages of this thread, and see if they've already been posted... You can use 'Ctrl' and 'F' held down together to search each page for keywords, which will make it faster.

    No- I would've said otherwise :P

I did Place, so I didn't even look at them, sorry! I'd suggest you look back through the pages of this thread, as some people may not be looking back any more, as the exam was a while ago, and people have moved on to their next exams.

    Character and voice was:

Compare singh song and a poem of your choice

And compare the ways in which power in Ozymandias and another poem is represented.

I would say you'de need a high B in the exam. It's 25% controlled assessment, right? We only did 1 controlled assessment, didn't you? AQA right?

Did anyone do the conflict cluster? And if so, which question did you choose? I did the one about The Charge of the Light Brigade (something like 'compare how bravery is represented in Charge of the Light Brigade and one other poem') and I compared it to next to of course god america i by e.e cummings... But everyone else that I've spoken to seems to have chosen the other question about Mametz Wood and I'm just wondering why everybody seemed to pick that question...
