Engelbert Humperdinck kept the Beatles off the number 1 spot. I'm pretty sure that's enough to be classed as 'good'.
Bob the Builder knocked Westlife off the Christmas no.1 spot in 2000 is that enough for him to be classed as 'good'?

You cannot compare Westlife to The Beatles.

    The Beatles>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Westlife

Albania went through and Finland didn't. You can't take this competition seriously.
Didn't hear Finland's, but I liked Albania's. It was weirdly captivating. Sort of.

But no, you can't take it seriously, that would be a very bad idea, with singing grannies, drag queens and Scooch (shudder) all being bountifully represented.

I swear javine was in the late teens or low 20's I know there was a girl who came 3rd in 2002. I think she started with a J but not Javine.
Oh yeah... I thought she was higher than that.

He was suggesting that surpassing an act that have a reign on the charts in terms of sales makes someone good. Westlife had straight number ones until they were beaten by Bob the Builder so they're comparable to The Beatles in that sense.

Eh jedward are not taking the piss. This is what they do and they love it. And low point on x factor, what? They have careers independent of it, sell out venues, huge fanbase here and in Europe and the song has charted in Europe. They are extremely dedicated to what they do and a lot of people who can't bear them still respect them for their attitudes towards their fans and everyone around them.

Doubt they'll win, but will be rooting for them, its time we won it again.

Why has the UK started selecting the people they're sending rather then letting people choose.
I thought Blue last year was one of the best entrants and so was Jade Ewen and they actually promoted themselves around Europe . The uk are singing first and the song might be forgotten as it's a slow ballad. A lot of the youtube comments are in support of the song .

Austria should've been in the final. Not Albania. Eurovision is not a contest for awesome voices, it's about catchy songs that get you out of your seat.
