Re: A level choices and career hopes- care to share? ;)Ah right. My school don't offer Further Maths :L We can either do Single Maths plus either Mechanics or Stats or we can do Double Maths with Mech one year and Stats in A2. We're not allowed to do 5 A levels(Original post by hopingtobeadentist)
Yeh even King's College; they've said applicants can take maths at as levels but only in one year, not in A2 as well ;P

Re: A level choices and career hopes- care to share? ;)Yeah, that's pretty fair as it would be extremely hard(Original post by Aysena)

And plus that's fine with me because I'm not even going to take maths

Re: A level choices and career hopes- care to share? ;)That doesn't matter. You only need to do three A-levels for med school usually, so the fact that I am doing five which may be classed as four is irrelevant.(Original post by Aysena)
I read in some prospectuses that Uni's consider Maths and Further Maths as one A level...

Re: A level choices and career hopes- care to share? ;)
I took Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and English Language at AS, dropped Chemistry for various and complicated reasons to do equally with douchy teachers and me not getting my head in the game last year. I'm currently finishing up Biology, Psychology and English Language, I've got a conditional offer from Exeter to study Biology so long as I get ABB (which I'm having to make up from ADD last year, so working my arse off xD). Careers - ultimately I'm looking to gain the scientific qualifications and background that will allow me to apply to the ESA to become an astronaut.

Re: A level choices and career hopes- care to share? ;)yeah :P but then again we have to do Welsh Bacc which is also a qualification...so I guess I' kinda doing 5(Original post by JLKeating)
my school only let us do 4 as well. I always thought that was the normal amount until people on here start talking about the fact they are doing 5+ A Levels...

Re: A level choices and career hopes- care to share? ;)European Space Agency. Like NASA, but represents loads of smaller European countries. They collaborate with NASA and the Russian/Japanese space agencies to run missions, send astronauts to the International Space Station for research, etcetera.
