Not receiving text at all???
Hi everyone. I've had a Blackberry Curve 9300 for about 18 months now, with another 6 months to go till my contracts up.
As it's a BB, I've obviously had constant problems ... 6 months into contract, the touch sensitive scrollpad just completely stopped working - got a new handset. 6 months later, phone was completely broken, supposedly water damaged (but not near water?) - new handset. Then a couple weeks ago, the screen just totally whited out, for no reason at all - Got my new handset in today/
The last couple weeks I have been using my dad's old phone (Nokia XpressMusic thingy) cause it was the only one I could keep using my 3 contract sim with. Everything was fine till a couple days ago, when me and a friend realised that, though I was receiving some texts, I WASN'T receiving about the same amount. Found out the next day another friend had text 3 times and hadn't received any.
Originally I thought it was a problem with the Nokia phone, but having got the new BB handset today, the same problem is continuing?
Could this be a problem with my 3 sim? And is there anything I can do to fix it (what with having 6 months of contract left and everything)?
Thanks for any help guys !! -
Re: Not receiving text at all???
I can understand your problem, but don't worryThe number of contacts you have will not affect your phone in that way.
First of all, try resending your service books.

After that, do another battery pull (making sure your phone is powered on when doing it). -
