And the guys who encourage this are disgusting, they don't realise what they are doing.
In the case of the son, his mother has probably piled so much guilt on him that he feels unable to leave, and she would make his life hell if he didn't give into her demands for food. Re: My Big Fat FetishI have always had a dislike of fat people and programmes like this validate my viewpoint. Why would anybody want to look like that? The "woman" tried to justify it, but I couldn't help noticing how rehearsed it seemed. Everything she said was aimed at skirting the real issue - she's ill. I don't buy that she views it as a 'sexuality' or that she 'looked like a boy' at 160lbs. I think, some people just don't understand moderation and don't have any willpower.
Did anyone else laugh when she explained how to 'put on weight healthily'? If health was her main priority, I don't think she would look like she does. -

Re: My Big Fat FetishWhat's sad is that the women don't even realise that they're being controlled and objectified by these men or 'feeders'; putting your health at severe risk and making yourself potentially immobile for their sole sexual gratification is not right. If their partners/husbands/boyfriends/feeders really cared for them or loved them, they wouldn't be encouraging them.

You seriously think it's a form of control? Interesting, I never thought of it like that. To get them to be dependent on them? Surely that can't be their initial motive and they must find them attractive on some level? -

Re: My Big Fat FetishI watched this out of curiosity and I found it quite sad. I felt sorry for the poor guy who had to wipe his mum's arse. And also for her too. Regretting she got so big and being aware that she'll be stuck like that until she dies.

Despite the image they're trying to project, most of them have little self-confidence and the weight only adds to their (mental and physical) problems. If you really cared for someone you wouldn't want to see them in (and even help/force them into) that state. None of the feeders on that show were overweight themselves which tells us something about their motives.(Original post by stargirl63)

This is what controlling men do to their gfs they stop don't want other men looking so they stop them from wearing nice clothes and make them put on weight so most men wouldn't be attracted to them. These women don't even realise it they think these men find them desirable but they only want to control them.
