Re: How do you get rid of stretch marks?(Original post by Kalv)
Bio oil, its a little expensive but it works wonders!
thank you both!(Original post by icapturethecastle)
Even if you can't get bio oil... I found a combination of regularly moisturising them and exercising that area faded mine. Or maybe it was a coincidence
I read that cocoa butter moisturiser is good for them too? I'm going to go hunt through Boots tomorrow

Re: How do you get rid of stretch marks?stretch marks arn't always to do with getting fat, they're to do with growing and pretty much all girls is not everyone of them have stretch marks. So it's not really about getting fat.(Original post by uxa595)
Best method: Don't get fat to begin with. -

Re: How do you get rid of stretch marks?yeah cocoa butter is good because it contains high amounts of vitamin e ie. the ingredient that's supposed to fad stretch marks... Hence why people just slosh on pure vitamin e oil rather than cocoa butter(Original post by rawragee)
thank you both!

Re: How do you get rid of stretch marks?
They fade on their own after a while and just end up looking silvery white, barely noticeable if you have pale skin. They're only purple when they're fresh. I don't think anything can get rid of them except for laser surgery or something seeing as they are scars. I've never noticed any improvement from using anything on mine (I started when they were already white though). Tried all the above mentioned things pretty much and it didn't fade the scars but I guess it might help the purpleness fade faster?

Re: How do you get rid of stretch marks?Well, they were red but not for very long because they were quite thin on the back of my calves underneath my knees(Original post by bloomblaze)
Where yours purple to begin with?
I don't know actually, they appeared a few years ago and it's not really in a place where you look often yourself.
