Re: What is your favourite coffee and why?
Im a bit of a coffee snob!
I bought a DeLonghi coffee maker for uni, and i would say its the best little machine ever! £60 to be able to make great espresso's at home, bargain!
As for the best coffee, so far id have to say Jamaican Blue Mountain is the best ive tried, although its pricey. Around £18 for 125g, which makes around 18 coffees. Cheap when compared to a coffee house, but for coffee made at home, its expensive.
Im yet to try Kopi Luwak, which at about £40 for 125g is hugely expensive, but once i get through what i currently have, its next on the shopping list. -

If so, I've got it too.
My dad's a total coffee nut too - it was his idea to get me the machine as a birthday present so I could have good coffee at uni, and he got so excited he bought me the thing over a month before my actual birthday.
He also sends me the occasional package of expensive coffee - all in all it's ****ing awesome.

Re: What is your favourite coffee and why?Yeh thats the one. I was a bit skeptical before i bought it. I spent 4-5 years in the catering industry after leaving school, and was used to using machines that probably cost £1000+ so wasnt holding out for too much. But its actually a great machine and makes great espresso. Havent used the steamer though, so not sure how good that is.(Original post by superwolf)

Any particular coffee you would recommend?
I quite like to buy this http://www.whittard.co.uk/gifts/finest_coffee_8x66g.htm although it was 15 last time i bought it. 8 different coffees and at 15 works out to be the same price buying ground beans, but get lots more variety.
